Monitoring & Evaluating Consultant

 

Project: Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action – 3-Year Impact Review

 

Location: Vasant Kunj, New Delhi ( No work from home )

 

Duration: 3 Months

 

Reporting To: Deputy Director- Lung Care Foundation  

 

About the Project

Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action is a national network of healthcare professionals working to address air pollution and climate change through advocacy, awareness, and policy engagement.

 

After completing three years of work, the organization seeks to assess its overall progress, document measurable impact, and develop a comprehensive Impact Report that highlights achievements, lessons learned, and future direction. 

 

Purpose of the Role

  • Review and strengthen the Monitoring & Evaluation framework.
  • Assess the impact of three years of advocacy and engagement.
  • Collect and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Develop a high-quality, publication-ready 3-Year Impact Report.
  • Present evidence-based results to donors and global stakeholders.  

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Verification: Clean and confirm campaign and program data using meeting records, media coverage, policy documents, and official records.

 

2. Impact Assessment: Measure influence on air quality and climate policies, increase in air pollution-climate knowledge among healthcare professionals, growth of the doctor network, and media/public engagement; identify key trends and lessons.

 

3. Reporting & Documentation: Develop clear indicators and produce

  • Inception report with work plan, updated methodology, and timeline
  • The final impact report includes an executive summary, achievements, case studies, visuals, policy highlights, and supporting documents that meet international donor standards.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Statistics, International Development, or related field
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in monitoring & evaluation
  • Experience in public health, environmental advocacy, or policy-related projects
  • Skills in advocacy or impact assessment
