WILD Trust is Looking for an Organization Co-builder ??
Location
Simultala, Jamui, Bihar
WILD Trust is a small grassroots organization working in rural Bihar on sustainable farming, food, and living, envisioning communities that respect, protect, and regenerate nature.
Over the past few years, we have engaged across 50+ villages with farmers, women, children, and youth on healthy and environment-friendly farming and eating practices. Our work includes promoting indigenous and uncultivated foods, ecological farming methods, rural green livelihood opportunities, and nurturing future green leaders through eco-clubs, youth engagement, and fellowship programs.
We are now looking for someone who wants to grow not just as an employee, but as a long-term co-builder in this journey.
Position: Organization Co-builder
This is not a typical job role.
We are looking for someone who deeply cares about environmental and social issues and wants to contribute toward building meaningful grassroots change together.
The ideal person may have:
volunteered in the environmental or social sector,
worked in grassroots initiatives,
started or attempted something independently,
or consistently contributed to causes they genuinely care about.
More than degrees or polished resumes, we value:
ownership,
initiative,
honesty,
learning attitude,
leadership potential,
and commitment toward meaningful work.
Who We Are Looking For
Someone who:
genuinely cares about environment, sustainability, and communities
is willing to work closely with rural communities and field realities
can take initiative instead of waiting for instructions
wants responsibility and long-term growth
is comfortable with uncertainty, experimentation, and learning
believes in building together instead of only looking for a secure job
has the ability to think independently and solve problems
You do not need expertise in all areas. We value people who bring strength or interest in at least one area and are willing to learn the rest over time.
Any experience or interest in one or more of these areas would be valuable:
Program design and facilitation
Community engagement and field coordination
Fundraising and proposal writing
Networking and partnership building
Communication and storytelling
Team coordination and HR processes
Documentation and reporting
Youth engagement and leadership development
Social media and outreach
Regardless of area of strength, this role involves regular engagement with rural communities, field visits, and grassroots realities.
What You Will Do
Depending on your interests and strengths, you may:
co-lead grassroots programs and initiatives
facilitate sessions with youth and children
engage with farmers and village communities
support organizational systems and processes
build partnerships and networks
contribute to communication and outreach efforts
help shape new ideas, projects, and long-term vision of WILD
Over time, this role is expected to grow into greater leadership and ownership responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who sees this not just as a job, but as an opportunity to build meaningful long-term work together.
Support / Stipend
15,000 per month initially from this only you have to take care of your fooding, loading and travel.
WILD is still a growing organization with limited resources. We are looking for someone who believes in growing together -- where responsibility, leadership, sustainability, and financial growth can evolve collectively over time.
What You Will Gain
Deep grassroots exposure
Opportunity to work directly with communities
Learning across environment, education, farming, leadership, and organization building
Real responsibility and leadership experience
Opportunity to co-create and grow with an evolving mission-driven organization
Opportunity to become co- founder
Location & Work Nature
The role is based in Simultala, Jamui district, Bihar.
