ARUNA, a leading NGO working on HIV prevention in Ganjam district of Odisha with support from OSACS, invites applications from eligible and committed candidates for the following position:

Position: Project Manager
Number of Posts: 1
Location: Berhampur, Ganjam district, Odisha
Remuneration: INR 21,000 per month plus travel allowance as per project norms

Qualification and Experience:
The candidate should have a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the NGO or development sector. Candidates with prior experience in counselling, HIV prevention, public health, community mobilisation, outreach programmes, or health-related interventions will be given preference.

Role Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and coordinating HIV prevention activities under the project. The position will involve working closely with community members, outreach staff, peer educators, health service providers, government departments, and partner organisations to ensure effective delivery of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day implementation of the HIV prevention project in the assigned area.
2. Coordinate with OSACS, district health authorities, community stakeholders, and project staff.
3. Supervise field-level activities, outreach services, counselling support, referrals, and follow-up.
4. Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports, records, documentation, and project data.
5. Support community mobilisation, awareness generation, and linkage with health services.
6. Monitor project targets, staff performance, and quality of service delivery.
7. Facilitate meetings, trainings, review sessions, and field visits as required.
