Position: Project Coordinator - Adolescent Girls Empowerment Project, Sneha Abhiyan
Location: Khurant Erasama Block, Jagatsinghpur District, Odisha
Reporting to: Secretary, Sneha Abhiyan (with guidance from the President, Sneha Abhiyan)

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Implementation
o Plan, implement, and monitor all activities of the BAULA Project in line with project goals and timelines.
o Ensure effective execution of adolescent empowerment interventions in project villages.
2. Volunteer Supervision & Support
o Supervise, guide, and support Sneha Karmis (volunteers) for smooth field-level implementation.
o Build their capacity through regular orientation and mentoring.
3. Training & Capacity Building
o Coordinate and facilitate training programs, orientation sessions, and adolescent girls' leadership activities.
o Support peer leaders in life skills, menstrual hygiene, and rights-based advocacy sessions.
4. Community Engagement & Campaigns
o Organize community-level campaigns on issues such as child marriage, child abuse, gender-based violence, and menstrual health.
o Mobilize schools, Gram Panchayats, Anganwadi Centres, ASHA workers, and local stakeholders for project activities.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
o Conduct monthly review meetings with field teams.
o Prepare activity reports, success stories, case studies, and donor reports as per requirements.
o Ensure timely submission of monthly work reports and activity plans.
6. Coordination & Liaison
o Build and maintain linkages with schools, government departments, and community institutions.
o Represent the project at block, district, and state-level forums when required.
7. Financial & Donor Compliance
o Ensure adherence to financial protocols and donor guidelines.
o Support timely documentation and reporting for audits and donor reviews.
8. Safeguarding & Conduct
o Follow all child protection, safeguarding, and ethical guidelines of Sneha Abhiyan.
o Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respectful behaviour with colleagues and community members.
9. Other Responsibilities
o Carry out any additional assignments given by the Secretary/President.

Qualifications & Experience
* Graduate or Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Gender Studies, or related field.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in community development, adolescent empowerment, or women's rights projects.
* Experience in volunteer management and capacity building will be an advantage.
* Strong skills in planning, documentation, and report writing.
* Ability to coordinate with government departments and local institutions.
* Good communication skills in Odia and basic English.
