Organization Background
 
MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA-HIMC) is a leading national-level not-for-profit institution registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Over the past three decades, MAMTA has evolved into a multi-disciplinary organization focused on empowering individuals and communities, building capacities, forging partnerships, and generating implementation evidence to strengthen policies and programs for the health and nutrition of marginalized populations.
 
MAMTA operates in 20 states through direct interventions, community mobilization, health system strengthening, networking, and policy advocacy, in collaboration with government bodies, public health systems, civil society, academia, the corporate sector, and communities.

Project Overview
 
This programme aims to drive behaviour change through a multifaceted approach targeting schools and communities. It also focuses on building teacher capacity to deliver a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical skills among students through experiential and interactive methods.
 
We seek to engage a qualified agency to deliver sanitation services across 50 government schools in Jaipur district under the Power of 8 model. 

Scope of Work
 
The selected agency will:
 
1 Cleaning Services
  • Clean toilets and urinals in 50 schools weekly up to 6 months (~1200–1300 visits)
  • Clean handwashing stations weekly up to 6 months
  • Clean drinking water areas
  • Ensure waste collection and safe disposal
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces 

2. Sanitation Workers  
  • Deploy 3 trained sanitation workers
  • Responsible for delivering sanitation services, maintaining equipment, and supporting hygiene promotion activities. 

3. Procurement of Cleaning Equipment  
  • Toilet Cleaning brushes
  • Mops and buckets
  • Waste collection bins
  • Wall/Tiles Scrubbing brushes
  • Cleaning kits
  • Cloth napkins (minimum 4 per worker) (medium size)  

4. Procurement of Safety Equipment  
  • Gloves
  • Face masks
  • Uniform with branding (Dungaree) 
  • Gumboots
  • Small Size First-aid kits (paracetamol, ORS, Antacid Tab, Band-Aids–different sizes, Dettol Antiseptic liquid, Cotton, small scissors etc.)    

5. Transportation/Fuel  
  • 3 Honda Shine Motorcycles are to be provided by agency which will be modified and branded.
  • 3 Dedicated branded motorcycles will be deployed to facilitate cleaning toilet etc. 4 times/weekly visits per school per month.
  • GPS tracking to be installed  

6.Branding and Visibility
 
All project assets will be branded in accordance with approved Dettol School Hygiene Education Program guidelines.
 
Branding will be done on following:
  • Motorcycles
  • Equipment boxes
  • Awareness materials
  • Reporting formats 

7. Quality Assurance Mechanism
 
To ensure high service standards, the following measures will be implemented:
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Regular supervision and monitoring visits
  • Worker training and refresher sessions
  • School feedback collection
  • Periodic performance reviews and Corrective action planning 

8. Monitoring Framework
 
The project will adopt a structured monitoring system to track implementation and impact.
 
8.1 Monitoring Parameters
  • Number of schools covered
  • Number of sanitation visits completed
  • Functionality and cleanliness status of facilities
  • Worker attendance and deployment
  • School satisfaction levels
  • Compliance with reporting requirements
8.2 Reporting Deliverables
  • Daily activity reports
  • Weekly summary reports
  • Monthly progress reports
  • Photo documentation
  • KPI tracking reports 

9. Timeline
 
School sanitation services will start from 1st July 2026 to 31st December 2026. 

10. Proposal Requirements
 
Interested agencies are requested to submit the following:
  1. Company overview and relevant work experience
  2. Detailed cost breakdown for servicing 50 schools under the defined model, including transportation. Please specify whether the quote is inclusive or exclusive of GST, and attach supporting documentation if GST is applicable
  3. Contact information for at least two references who can attest to the agency's work quality and experience  

11. Proposals must include costs for 6 months strictly under the following heads (Don’t make extra budget head)  
  • 3 Honda Bike cost
  • Modification of 3 Bikes
  • Branding of 3 Bikes
  • 3 Bike Repair & Maintenance
  • Fuel Charges
  • Cleaning Equipment@50school*4visit per month upto 6 months
  • Cleaning material@50school*4visit per month upto 6 months
  • 3 Manpower for 6months  
12. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
  • Technical expertise would be main selection criteria
  • Jaipur based agencies would be given preference
  • Experience and quality of previous work
  • Cost competitiveness
  • Feasibility of the proposed timeline
