About the Role

KEF is the district partner for implementing the Adarsh Anganwadi Program in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Under the project, KEF works with 500 Anganwadis across the district to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education.

In this role, the Project Officer will work closely with the Program team manager and other Project Officers to build the capacity and skills of the government staff from the Women and Child Development Department towards the goal of improved quality of Early Childhood Education.

Role Details

Position : Project Officer - Scale (MP) - (Female candidates only)
Reporting to : Program Manager
Commitment: Full time
Location: Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradesh (Working station will be based at Bada Malhera Block and Rajnagar or Luvkushnagar Block)
Remuneration Range: 2.50,000- 3,50,000 INR per annum


Key Responsibilities and Duties

Program Implementation
Visit and be the point of contact for 4-5 ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) projects in Chhatarpur.
Build the capacity of the Supervisors and CDPOs through AWC visits.
Conduct joint visits with supervisors, observation, feedback and coaching during sector meetings.
Ensure and support the timely delivery of print resources in Anganwadi Centers.
Ensure timely data collection from the field and feeding the data in the formats and templates provided by the organization. Monitor the progress and completion of targets based on the data collected by the supervisors.
Regularly provide training to the AWWs and the other Government stakeholders (Supervisors and CDPOs).
Report progress of the implementation on a monthly and quarterly basis to the organization and to the Government officials.
Collect voices and stories from the ground to communicate progress.

Stakeholder Management
Build liaison with the stakeholders such as the Anganwadi workers, parents Supervisors, CDPOs and the community and keep them informed of the progress of the project.
Support other KEF teams on need-based tasks such as translation, TPd content development, or content collection.

Reporting and Communication
Document and share success and key voices from the ground to support organizational learning and visibility.

Is deeply passionate about Early Childhood Education and improving developmental outcomes for young children.
Values collaboration and works effectively in team settings.
Enjoys experimenting, learning from feedback, and continuously improving.
Is comfortable travelling and spending significant time in the field.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
Comfortable in communicating and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in Hindi and Bundeli and basic working knowledge of English is essential.
Knowledge of basic computer skills (MS Office) is an advantage.

Qualification, Work Experience and other Pre-Requisites
Graduate degree
0-3 years of experience, Freshers are welcome to apply
Preferably with at least 1 year of experience working as a teacher
The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and personal two wheeler
