PBK as a NGO working for the women and children, who are in difficult situations. We are looking for designated post in the name Superintendent for “Prerona - Protection Home for Girls' under J J Act.

Location : Home situated at Bhawanipore, Kolkata

Qualification - (Female Candidate only) MSW, preferably English background, computer literate and must have working experience with the children.

Salary - Rs.25,000 per month (Aprox.)

Working Days: Office will be opened for 5 (five) days per week i.e. Monday to Friday,
Duty Hours: Office will commence from 10 AM and continue till 6 PM I.e. 8(eight) hours per day including 30 minutes recess.

JOB Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating the running Protection of Home for Girls'.
2. Home License renewal and updating it.
3. Looking into all children’s educational matter { Ensure that all the children receives age appropriate education opportunities}
Co-ordination with schools, private tutors, and monitors the progress standard of education both in knowledge and implementation level of each child
5. Preparation of MIS, Quarterly/Bi-annual and Annual report, Sponsorship letters and cards, Achievement report of protection Homes.
6. School Visit & Home visit (New & Old).
7. Attend all guardians meeting in schools.
8. Bill Settlement with Accountant Department.
9. Organise Meeting, & Staff meeting. And impart Parents Training
10. Monitoring of Health & hygiene & maintenance part in home with the help of Program Manager.
11. Any other work related to organization as instructed by Director.
12. Will be responsible for all matters pertaining to Girls’ home and adherence of Child Protection Policy of PBKOJP.
13. Planning implementation and co-ordination of all home activities, programmes and operations, including training and treatment programmes or correctional activities as the case may be.
14. Organize local and national festivals in the home, organize trips or excursions or picnics for children.
15. Supervision over office administration, including attending to personnel welfare and staff discipline. Prompt, firm and considerate handling of all disciplinary matters.
16. Liaison, co-ordination and co-operation with the C.P.O / District Child Protection Unit or State Government as and when required.
17. Co-ordination with the legal officer to ensure that every child is legally represented and provided free legal aid and other necessary support.
18. Ensure proper restoration and rehabilitation of the children admitted in protection home.
