Advanced HIV disease (AHD) and AMR program, Patna
DWBI operates a 42- bedded in-patient facility for the treatment of life-threatening conditions associated with advanced HIV disease, in Guru-Gobind Singh Hospital (GGSH), Patna. The facility provides free-of charge, comprehensive in-patient care including evidence based medical treatment, access to diagnostics and anti-microbial resistance testing, nutritional support, mental health care, health education, palliative care and link to social support.

PURPOSE OF POST:
Carrying out or supervising all maintenance logistics activities in the hospital, office, and guest houses (vehicles, fuel consumption, biomed and local infrastructure) according to DWBI standards and protocols in order to have the material, infrastructure, and vehicles in optimal running conditions.
• Planning vehicles movements, tracking individual trips, and ensuring implementation of security measures
• Tracking consumption of supplies, fuel, lubricants, used in different facilities (office, house, store, etc.).
• Checking the maintenance of the various open spaces (gardens, courtyards...) and ensuring that domestic waste is correctly discarded
• Checking and ensuring the maintenance of DWBI premises and facilities, as well as the general water supply, electrical, walls, ceilings ect. And security conditions. In this sense, making inspection visits to assess the rehabilitation needs of facilities.
• Performing maintenance of logistics equipment for cold chain, energy, IT and radio communications, in particular:
• Inventories and the reallocation of equipment.
• Renewing the authorization to use radio material with local authorities.
• Checking the quality of the work carried out on generators and electrical installations.
• Preparing orders for his sector activity, do the follow-up, and checking their proper reception and state.
• Carrying out local purchases and ensuring that the line manager is aware of any problems linked to the quality or availability of the items to be purchased.
• Participating in trainings at the request of the line manager.

ACCOUNTIBILITES
DWBI Section/ CONTEXT SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintenance of Facilities (Hospital, Warehouses, Guesthouses and Office):
• Under the supervision of the line manager, do the timely service and maintenance of energy equipment like AC system, ILR, Backup system, generator, washing machines, water purifiers, and other household equipment installed in DWBI working premises and make regular visits to the DWBI facilities whenever required or as requested by the Line Manager.
• Assisting Bio. Med. Specialist in carrying out the preventive and scheduled maintenance of Bio. Med. equipment, participate in the installations and hardware changes of the equipment, and act as the backup of Bio. Med. Specialist for maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the biomed equipment when Bio. Med. Specialist is not available.
• To make sure that the preventive maintenance checklist is performed every month across all the facilities of DWBI.
• To make sure that all the DWBI facilities are maintained as per the DWBI standards and evaluate the facilities by making regular visits from time to time to the facilities and submitting reports to the supervisor.
• On the request of the supervisor, undertake all the maintenance, repair and improvement tasks ensuring timely and quality completion across all the facilities of the DWBI.
Maintenance of Agreements (Record Filing):
• Manage the centralized filing system for all lease agreements and property contracts across all DWBI facilities, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and tracked for timely renewal before expiration.
Asset management:
• To help the team in conducting the 3A Asset inventory at the time of 4M, 8M, and 12M.
• To do Fleet management, including overseeing the daily movements in the absence of the Logistics Supervisor.
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Essential: Higher Secondary (12th) Education.
Desirable: Graduation in any discipline.
Experiece
Essential 1 year of experience in a similar Job profile.
Languages
Mission Language Desirable; Local working Language essential.
Knowledge
Computer skills: MS word, MS excel and Radio equipment user knowledge.
