Chakra Dialogues Foundation is looking for a Programme Assistant to join our impact and communications team in New Delhi.

You'll work across the full programme lifecycle, research and consultations, content and comms, project coordination, and get direct weekly exposure to senior voices from India's defence, strategic, and industry ecosystems. The assistant directly reports to the Associate (Communications & Impact).

Research & Programme Support (CNP Course)
• Ability to sift through academic and industry-based knowledge products.
• Draft structured research inputs
• Ability to comprehend data and make inference from it
• Take structured notes at expert review sessions with diplomats and senior military officers

Communications & Institutional Content
• Help produce social media collaterals every week (static visuals, text posts, short videos) across CDF's platforms
• Support concept notes, programme design documents, keynote addresses, and talking points for leadership
• Assist with business development and impact-reporting materials

Project Coordination
• Track deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups across ongoing projects; maintain a shared tracker/dashboard
• Draft and track CSR outreach, contacts, follow-ups, timelines

What You Must Bring
• Graduates from any fields are welcome, Post Graduate degree is highly desirable.
• Excellent proof-reading skills and impeccable command over the English language
• Excellent proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, or equivalent design tools; an eye for clean, professional design
• Digital Agility: Must be able to work with digital tools across the programme life cycle.
• Creativity: An instinct for turning complex ideas into sharp content
• Comfort producing structured reports, concept notes, and formal correspondence
• Published or demonstrated analytical writing (academic paper, think tank blog, policy commentary, long-form journalism)
• Ability to work independently, hit weekly deadlines, and take feedback well

Desirable:
• Experience working at or interning with a think tank, policy research organization, or strategic affairs publication.
• Demonstratable success on creating and managing high engagement social media collaterals

What Would Set You Apart
• Comfort with numbers — reading budget tables, interpreting survey data, building simple charts
• Systems/LogFrame thinking (inputs ? outputs ? outcomes)
• Ability to use your brains over AI in urgency.
