Part Time Disaster Management Consultant (CSR Projects) - 1
Vacant Position- 1 position in Assam and Bihar (look after projects at both locations)
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for planning and implementation of CSR-funded Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Community Resilience projects.
• Conduct disaster risk, vulnerability, and needs assessments.
• Support planning and technical supervision of disaster-resilient community infrastructure, including rescue shelters, raised toilets, flood-resilient water systems, animal shelters, and emergency storage facilities.
• Develop technical documents, BOQs, DPRs, project proposals, and progress reports.
• Design and facilitate disaster preparedness and community response training programmes.
• Recommend and support procurement of rescue and emergency response equipment.
• Coordinate with District Administration, DDMA, SDMA, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct field monitoring visits and provide technical guidance for quality project implementation.
Eligibility & Skills Required:
• Master's Degree in Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Rural Development, Geography, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), humanitarian response, climate resilience, or CSR-funded disaster management projects.
• Experience in community-based disaster preparedness, disaster-resilient infrastructure, and capacity building.
• Knowledge of NDMA Guidelines, Sendai Framework, Sphere Standards, and community-based disaster risk management.
• Strong report writing, project planning, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GIS or technical planning tools will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.

• Project-based field assignment under CSR implementation
