About the Organization
Nari Gunjan (Women’s Voice), founded in 1987 by Padmashree awardee Sudha Varghese, is a Patna-based non-profit working extensively with the Musahar community. The organization focuses on women’s empowerment, education, and health. In collaboration with international partners, Nari Gunjan is implementing innovative programmes to mainstream out-of-school children and strengthen community development.

About the Project
Sampoorna Utthaan – Integrated Nutrition, Sports & Livelihood Development Programme aims to improve nutrition, promote youth sports, and enhance livelihood opportunities in marginalized Musahar settlements.

Role Purpose
The Project Coordinator will lead planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the Sampoorna Utthaan Programme, ensuring effective delivery of nutrition, sports, and livelihood interventions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop monthly/quarterly work plans and oversee implementation across 10 villages.
Coordinate nutrition supplementation, youth sports groups, livelihood training, and health camps.
Monitor project outcomes (nutrition records, sports participation, skill training, income tracking).
Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments.
Mobilize and strengthen community groups; facilitate convergence with government schemes.
Prepare structured reports (monthly, quarterly, financial utilization) and document success stories.
Supervise and mentor project staff and community mobilizers.

Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Public Health, or related fields.
3–5 years of experience in project coordination (CSR/community development preferred).
Experience working with marginalized communities in Bihar desirable.
Strong skills in planning, monitoring, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in MS Office; good communication skills in Hindi & English.

Improved nutritional status of 200 children & 100 adolescent girls.

Timely submission of reports and effective stakeholder coordination.
