About the Project:
The project - MINE: Migrant Initiatives for Northeast is specifically conceptualized for the migrant youths of Northeast seeking better opportunities in Goa. It is a humble effort of the MSMHC through FDEWS to bring together the disintegrated force, linking the Source and the Destination and aspiring for a dignified life of the individuals and that of their family with the aim to curbing the menace of human trafficking and loss of lives.
We are seeking applications from candidates for one of our multi-state projects currently in Goa and Mizoram (later to be scaled to other Northeastern states).

Job Title: Outreach-Rescue Worker (ORW)
Location: Goa, India
Position Number: 02 (Two)

Role Description:
The Outreach -Rescue Worker will be the point person responsible for the day-to-day activities’ implementation of the MINE project at the field level in the destination state of Goa. The person will be executing the Action Plan with the support of Project Coordinator and Liaising and Engagement Coordinator. He/ She will be responsible for undertaking the work in community level with the Northeast Migrants in Goa and ensure rescue, rehabilitation and linkages with different schemes and services.

Key Tasks and Deliverables:
• Outreach-Rescue Workers will do all the mobilization and organization of activities at the field level. They will lead community level interventions.
• Conducting mapping exercise in the identification of vulnerable areas, groups of people, employment for project related intervention.
• Implementing the program at field as per the detail Implementation plan. Organizing all the project activities as mentioned in the project proposal according to the budget.
• Able to document all the activity level reports, bills and vouchers and their timely submission to the project office. Report to the Liaising and Engagement Coordinator
• Support and Conduct Socio-Economic Baseline
• Preparation of quarterly community level action plans in consultation with communities’ and other project staff
• To plan, administer supervise and monitor the activities of Youth Groups, Networks, Faith based youth group, etc.
• Assist in planning training programs, orientations and visits for capacity building and assign responsibilities Youth Groups, Networks, Faith based youth group, etc.
• Assist in rescue of migrant youth in distress and linkages with services
• Engage though Liaising and Engagement Coordinator in Employer Employee Dialogues
• Provide on-going support to the Youth Groups, Networks, faith-based youth group, etc. in their respective areas in monitoring the activities, liaison, and convergent of services, linkage with Migrant Facilitation Centre in coordination with the Shelter Coordinator and their skilling
• Participate in all project level activities of their respective areas
Qualifications and Competencies:
• Intermediate degree or above.
• Should have equivalent community level experience and motivation to work for the community.
• At least one to two years of prior professional experience in a similar work.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Having sound understanding of the life, lifestyle, culture, tradition and complexities of the people of Northeast India.
• Excellent abilities in local language (speaking-Konkani/Marathi/Hindi). Good Writing skills will be an additional advantage.
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity, coordination and transparency.
• Strong ability to remain flexible and adapt to capacities of communities. • Proven experience in conducting baseline, end line survey etc. at the community level using the digital medium of communication.

Remuneration/Package/Benefits:
• Maximum Budgeted Salary to be offered INR 18000/- per month based on experience
