Paschim Banga Krira-O-Janakalyan Parishad (PBKOJP) is a non-governmental organization working in the fields of Child Protection, Education, Community Health Care and Life skill training for income generation.

PBKOJP is looking for a Counselor (Female only) for Prerona Protection Home For Girls, located at Bhawanipur, Kolkata.

Eligibility
• Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to children, helping them navigate emotional, psychological, and behavioural challenges.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and healing environment.
• Utilize play therapy techniques to engage with children and help them express their emotions in a safe, non-judgmental space.
• Provide counselling services to families, helping to strengthen relationships and promote healthy communication and problem-solving.
• Excel in preparing detailed, clear, and accurate reports on counselling sessions, client progress, and activities.
• Able to prepare DCPU reports.
• Ensure all reports are submitted within specified deadlines.
• Arrive on time and maintain a disciplined work schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be empathetic and create a child-friendly, nurturing environment for young children.

Qualifications
Post graduate in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with 1-2 years’ experience in working in protection home.
Working as a counselor especially with children would be an added advantage
Gross Salary: 18,360/month (non-negotiable)
