About Gramin Samaj Vikas Kendra (GSVK)
Gramin Samaj Vikas Kendra (GSVK), established in 1989, is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized and rural communities through interventions in child rights and protection, education, health, livelihoods, women empowerment, and sustainable rural development across Uttar Pradesh.

Project Background
Since 2022, GSVK has been implementing the Just Right for Children (JRC) programme in partnership with Just Rights for Children. The programme is currently being implemented across 500 villages in Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, and Baghpat districts to strengthen child protection systems through community participation, institutional strengthening, and convergence with government departments. The District Coordinator (Bijnor) will be responsible for leading the implementation of project activities across 100 intervention villages in Najibabad and Kotwali Blocks, ensuring effective planning, coordination, monitoring, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of all project activities across the intervention area.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans and ensure timely achievement of project targets.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to project field staff.
• Facilitate the formation and strengthening of 100 Child Welfare and Protection Committees (CWPCs).
• Coordinate efforts for prevention of child marriages and ensure timely reporting and follow-up of cases.
• Identify and facilitate enrolment of out-of-school and at-risk children into schools, skill development programmes, and government schemes.
• Facilitate the linkage of vulnerable families with appropriate government welfare schemes.
• Coordinate activities related to prevention of child trafficking and online/digital exploitation of children.
• Engage Panchayati Raj Institutions, community leaders, faith leaders, government departments, and other stakeholders for effective implementation.
• Organize trainings, awareness programmes, Rakshak workshops, and community meetings.
• Ensure quality documentation, project records, case studies, success stories, and timely submission of reports.
• Maintain project MIS, beneficiary records, and activity documentation.
• Represent the organization in district-level meetings, coordination platforms, and review meetings.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Rural Development, Psychology, Development Studies, or any other relevant Social Science discipline.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience may also be considered.

Essential Experience
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the development sector/NGO.
• Experience in child protection, child rights, education, community development, or social welfare programmes.
