Remuneration:              Rs. 18000/- per month (in hand)
 

Role Overview:

 The Volunteer TBBT Project will support the effective implementation of the programme at school and community level, ensuring high-quality delivery support, strong stakeholder engagement and contribution to programme outcomes. The role will help enable adolescents to build confidence, dignity and informed behaviours aligned with the programme’s core pillars of Awareness, Equity, Consent, Protection and Inclusion.

 Volunteers will work closely with the District Coordinator and field teams to assist in sessions, data management, clubs/corners, stakeholder liaison and documentation.

 
 


 Key Responsibilities:

 1. Programme Support and Field Implementation

  •  Support planning and execution of TBBT programme activities across assigned schools and communities, under guidance of the District Coordinator/State Lead.
  • Assist in smooth roll-out of sessions and engagement platforms (clubs, events, campaigns) in line with programme design, timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist in setting up TBBT engagement platforms and help maintain these spaces, encourage student participation and support school events/campaigns linked to TBBT.
  • Ensure that sessions and activities are participatory, inclusive and aligned with programme behaviour change objectives and safeguarding standards.

 

Data Entry, Validation and Reporting:

  •  Support in data entry and management.
  • Support the State team in validation of Headmaster, Teachers and Students data.
  • Support data collection, basic validation and maintenance of accurate records of programme activities, participation and outputs at the field level.
  • Documentation and daily reporting, as per formats shared by ADRA India.

 Trainings, Sessions and Monitoring:

  • Conduct trainings for teachers & students in their respective states/assigned districts, including logistical arrangements and mobilisation.
  • Support in conducting project related activities & events in their respective states/districts.
  • Ensure the regular conduct of classes by the teachers and monitor students on attending the session, in coordination with the school and programme staff.
  • Provide on-site support to facilitators during programme implementation and help maintain session quality and child-safe practices.

 Stakeholder Liaison and Community Engagement

  •  Liasioning with government stakeholder, organisations and influencers and people who align with the project, as guided by ADRA India staff.
  • Build positive rapport with school leadership, teachers, parents and community members to strengthen local ownership of the programme.

 Quality and Safeguarding

  • Support regular field monitoring visits with ADRA staff to observe sessions, participation and engagement quality.
  • Ensure adherence to programme standards, safeguarding protocols, gender equality and inclusive practices in all interactions with children and adolescents.
  • Immediately report any safeguarding concerns or incidents to the designated safeguarding focal person in line with ADRA India’s policies and PSEA standards.

 Other Duties:

  •  Willing to support and contribute as required by the project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors in line with program requirements.

 Requirements:

 1. Mandatory:

  • Minimum 12th Pass from a recognised board.
  • Must be a resident of one of the following districts of Delhi – Central Delhi/New Delhi/North Delhi/North-West Delhi/South Delhi/West Delhi.

2. Preferred:

  • Graduate in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, Psychology, or related field.
  • Freshers are welcome; prior experience in youth engagement, community work, or school-based activities will be an added advantage.
  • Should be energetic, dynamic, proactive, and a fast learner with the ability to adapt to diverse environments.
  • Comfortable in working with adolescents, teachers, and community members.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, data entry) is desirable.

(ST/SGB/2003/13, 2003)

 Background and Reference check:

ADRA India will carry out a comprehensive background and reference check. This will encompass an evaluation of the individual's professional conduct, safeguarding practices, and overall work ethics
