About Organization:

Mahila Housing Trust (MHT) was founded in 1994 based out of Ahmedabad with the mission of building housing and living environments for poor women and girls. MHT’s programs address basic civic and housing infrastructure needs, including water, sanitation, drainage, solid waste management, roads, electricity/energy, low-income housing and secured land tenure. MHT facilitates access to information along with financial, legal and technical services in housing, water and sanitation, and energy sectors with a focus on improving the quality of lives and livelihoods of poor women and girls.

Key Responsibilities
• Work and Co-ordinate local NGO partners & ensure quality outcomes
• Build partnerships with government stakeholders
• Conduct city-level consultation workshops
• Manage project budgets & financial tracking
• Lead monitoring and report writing for MHT team
• Develop and implement MHT’s own programme in select slums

Essential Qualification:
• 8–10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge in climate, resilience, or related fields
• Strong government liaison & networking skills
• Proficiency in Excel, budgeting, and report writing
• Graduate/Master’s degree preferred
• Background in gender & women’s leadership (desirable)

Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications & experience of the candidate.
