Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Project Coordinator, who is fluent in Gujarati, to oversee the implementation of a social sector project. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing a team of Suraksha Mitra, ensuring that project activities are executed effectively and align with our objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills, team management abilities, and a commitment to social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Implementation:
• Lead the day-to-day implementation of the project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and oversee field activities to ensure that project goals are met.
• Work closely with local stakeholders, including community leaders, partner organizations, and beneficiaries to ensure successful project execution.
• Organize training/awareness programs
Team Management:
• Supervise a team of field volunteers, providing them with the guidance, support, and training they need to excel in their roles. • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
Monitoring and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed project records, including activity reports, attendance records, and feedback from trainers and beneficiaries. • Prepare and submit progress reports to the Project Manager and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
• Ensure that data collection processes are conducted accurately by the team and that all data is properly recorded and analysed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, local authorities, and partner organizations.
• Act as a representative of the project at community meetings and workshops, promoting the project's objectives and progress.
• Address and resolve community concerns and challenges to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in team management
• Prior experience in working with marginalized communities or rural development projects.
• Experience in designing and implementing CSR programs
• Applicant should be fluent in Gujarati (mandatory)
