Project Supervisor

Job Purpose
To supervise programme implementation in assigned villages, provide regular guidance to Village Level Facilitators, coordinate meetings of community institutions, and ensure identification and resolution of child protection cases.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and ensure quality of programme implementation across a maximum of 8 villages.
* Provide regular guidance, monitoring, and on-field support to Village Level Facilitators.
* Coordinate and facilitate meetings of Child Protection Committees (CPCs), Bal Manch, Kishori
Mandals, parents, and other community groups.
* Lead community mobilisation activities.
* Ensure timely identification, reporting, and referral of child protection cases (child marriage, child labour,trafficking, school dropout, etc.).
* Undertake immediate field visits, counselling, documentation, and follow-up for time-sensitive ases.
* Establish and strengthen village-level coordination with government departments and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
* Participate in Gram Sabha meetings and raise child protection and entitlement-related issues.
* Submit regular and timely reports to the Project Coordinator.

Qualification & Experience:
* Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field; a post-graduate degree in Social Work is preferred.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the community development/child protection sector; experience supervising field teams is desirable.
* Knowledge of the child protection system (POCSO, JJ Act, ICPS) and government welfare schemes.

* Community mobilisation and facilitation skills.
* Crisis management and patience in handling sensitive cases.
* Fluency in the local language.
* Ability to ride a two-wheeler and willingness for regular travel in remote rural areas.
