Role summary:-
The Program Manager will be responsible for providing strategic direction, guidance, and support to a team comprising the Assistant Program Manager, Coordinator, MIS, Community Volunteers, and others. This position is central to initiating, implementing, and managing the overall project in J&K and Leh Ladakh Location, and plays a critical role in building linkages with government departments, private sector entities the different stake holders of the project.

No. of Position:- 1 ( The Candidates will be based in Budgam location in Jammu & Kashmir, and will travel to Leh Ladakh also)

Key Responsibilities:-

* Provide leadership and vision to the project team, ensure proper team management in J&K and Leh Ladakh location
* Act as the key point of contact at the project level, overseeing initiation, implementation, and management of the project.
* Ensure convergence and coordination with relevant government departments.
* Identify and develop partnerships with government departments, local NGOs, banks, and other stakeholders.
* Liaise with entities working in areas such as NRLM, health and research, community development, and sustainable livelihoods.
* Ensure timely, qualitative, and quantitative documentation of the project including monthly, quarterly, training, and final reports.
* Promote a positive team environment focused on motivation, empowerment, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Supervise and ensure the successful implementation of all project interventions aligned with project goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work/Development Studies/ Rural development or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 8–9 years of relevant experience in rural and sustainable development, preferably with a global or large-scale organization.

Demonstrated success in developing and delivering integrated livelihood-based projects.

Note:-

*Preference will be given to candidates from Jammu & Kashmir or those with previous experience working in Budgam.
*Knowledge of local language is essential for effective implementation and community interaction.
* Should be ready to travel Leh , Ladakh also.
