Rupantaran Foundation is looking for a passionate and dynamic Youth Program Facilitator to join our team and work with young people in Namkhana, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Youth Facilitator who enjoys working with young people and can create a safe, inclusive, and youth-friendly learning environment.
The Youth Facilitator will be responsible for engaging adolescents and young people through interactive sessions, workshops, discussions, and activities focused on life skills, leadership, gender equality, rights, wellbeing, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate interactive and participatory sessions with adolescents and youth.
Create a safe, inclusive, and youth-friendly environment where young people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Plan and conduct workshops, group discussions, games, and experiential learning activities.
Build positive relationships with young people and encourage their active participation.
Support youth-led activities and encourage leadership and decision-making.
Identify the needs, concerns, and aspirations of young people and provide appropriate support or referrals.
Conduct community outreach and engage with parents, schools, and community stakeholders when required.
Maintain session records, attendance, activity reports, and other programme documentation.
Participate in team meetings, training, reflection sessions, and programme planning.
Contribute ideas to make workshops creative, engaging, and relevant to young people.

What We’re Looking For
Experience working with adolescents and young people,
Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
Ability to conduct engaging and participatory workshops.
A friendly, approachable, and non-judgmental attitude towards young people.
Ability to build trust and create a youth-friendly environment.
Good understanding of gender, child/youth development, life skills, or community engagement will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to field locations, including rural and vulnerable communities.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum Graduate degree; MSW, Social Work, Development Studies, Education, or related fields preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience working with adolescents/youth, preferably in community development, NGO, or social development programmes.
• Fresh graduates with strong youth engagement and facilitation skills may also be considered.

Compensation
25,000/- per month CTC
