Job Description
Content Writer (Work From Home)
Organisation: Sakshi Location: Remote (Work From Home) Position: Full-time Salary: 27,000 per month

About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and research-driven Content Writer to support Sakshi's digital communications. The role will focus on creating engaging, accurate and accessible content for our website, social media platforms and digital campaigns while ensuring consistency in the organisation's voice.
Key Responsibilities
* Write and edit website content, including programme pages, blogs, announcements and impact stories.
* Develop content for social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and YouTube.
* Write captions, video descriptions, campaign copy and digital awareness content.
* Conduct basic research to ensure content is accurate, relevant and evidence-based.
* Collaborate with the design, video and programme teams to develop multimedia content.
* Ensure all content aligns with Sakshi's communication guidelines, voice and organisational values.
* Support content planning through content calendars and campaign schedules.
* Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar and consistency.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in English, Gender, Journalism, Communications, Mass Media or a related field.
? 1–3 years of professional content writing experience.
* Strong understanding of gender, GBV, and feminist frameworks
* Experience in training content development and report writing
* Ability to simplify complex ideas without losing nuance
* Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends.
* Strong research and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently while working remotely.
Desirable
* Familiarity with SEO writing and digital marketing principles.
