Position Details:
Position- Program Coordinator (Fisheries & Livelihood)
Location- Regional Office, Agartala, Tripura

Position Purpose:
The Program Coordinator will lead the implementation, monitoring and technical support of fisheries and livelihood interventions under the CSAL Project. The role involves supervising field teams, strengthening community institutions, ensuring quality programme delivery, managing MIS and reporting systems and coordinating with government departments and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate and monitor fisheries and livelihood interventions across project locations.
• Provide technical guidance on scientific aquaculture, FRP hatchery management and Integrated Farming Systems (IFS).
• Supervise and mentor Cluster Coordinators, Community Resource Persons, Cooperative CEOs and field staff.
• Conduct regular field monitoring, quality assurance and verification of project activities.
• Strengthen Fisheries Cooperative Societies through governance, business planning and market linkage support.
• Manage project MIS, analyse programme data and prepare technical and progress reports.
• Coordinate trainings, exposure visits, demonstrations and capacity-building programmes.
• Liaise with government departments, financial institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely achievement of project targets and undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
• Undertake field visits to project locations for a minimum of 10 days each month.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
• Master's Degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture, Fisheries, Development Studies, or a related discipline; OR Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.).
Experience:
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in rural development, fisheries, agriculture, livelihoods or community development programmes.
• Experience in project implementation, MIS, M&E and team supervision is preferred.
Required Competencies:
• Livelihood programme implementation
• Scientific aquaculture and hatchery management
• Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and MIS
• Team leadership and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with digital data platforms is desirable
Other Requirements:
• Extensive field travel across Tripura.
• Willingness to work in rural and remote locations.
• High level of integrity, accountability and commitment to community development.
Compensation: INR 45,000–55,000 per month
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience, and CML norms.
