CRY’s reach is Pan India with a presence in 20 states. CRY works to ensure happier childhoods for India’s children.

Your Role:

Volunteer Management (Primary Focus):
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor 200–250+ volunteers annually across colleges and communities
• Build sustained campus and neighbourhood volunteer groups
• Plan and lead workshops, campaigns, and field activities
• Assign roles, train volunteers, and ensure quality, safe engagement
• Track participation, hours, and outcomes; maintain volunteer records
• Foster ownership, leadership, and long-term retention

Institutional & Government Liaison:
• Build relationships with government/ZP/MPP schools and education officials
• Facilitate permissions and coordinate school-based programmes
• Serve as CRY’s local point of contact for stakeholders

CSR & Partnerships:
• Support local corporates and CSR initiatives
• Coordinate employee volunteering and community projects
• Ensure smooth execution and reporting

Programme Coordination:
• Plan monthly/quarterly action plans
• Document progress, outcomes, and stories of change
• Represent CRY at local forums and networks

Expected Outcomes:
• A strong and active volunteer base across Vizag
• Sustainable volunteer groups in colleges and communities
• Effective partnerships with schools and local stakeholders
• Consistent volunteer-led initiatives benefiting children

YOU: Bachelors or Masters in Social Sciences/ Social work with 2-3 yrs experience in school-based/education programs with hands-on stakeholder engagement (students, teachers, parents, Volunteers). Alumni of known social sector Fellowships preferred. Fluent in Telugu and English with strong facilitation and communication skills. Based in Vizag, Visakhapatnam and willing to work in and around the region.
