About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video & Photo Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing photos and videos for our social media platforms, website, campaigns, events, and other communication activities.
The ideal candidate should have a good eye for visual storytelling, creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of current social media trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and enhance videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Edit photographs for social media posts, events, campaigns, and organizational communication.
• Create engaging Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and event highlights.
• Shoot photos and videos during events, plantation drives, field activities, and other organizational programs when required.
• Add captions, subtitles, graphics, transitions, music, and other elements to videos.
• Perform colour correction, audio editing, cropping, resizing, and other post-production work.
• Ensure all visual content is consistent with the organization's branding and communication style.
• Work closely with the , social media, and Communications teams to understand content requirements.
• Organize and maintain photo and video files, footage, and project folders.
• Stay updated with social media trends, editing techniques, and creative formats.
• Complete assigned projects within deadlines.
Required Skills:
• Good knowledge and experience of video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and social media content creation.
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content.
• Strong sense of visual composition, storytelling, and creativity.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Film/Media Production, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in photo/video editing and content creation.
• A strong portfolio of previous work is preferred.
Salary:
• 25000 to 30,000 per month
