The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution, supervision, strategy, stakeholder
engagement, reporting, and performance management of the KR Market Zero Waste Project. This is a lead-from-the-front role requiring the individual to work directly on the ground while also driving systems, team accountability, data-driven decision making, and project sustainability.
The role demands a professional who can execute work personally, lead teams effectively, build
systems strategically, and document outcomes accurately.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day project implementation across assigned market zones.
• Work directly on the ground to drive vendor engagement, behaviour change, training, conflict resolution, and operational problem-solving.
• Supervise Project Coordinators, Community Mobilisers, Data Teams, volunteers, and field operations while ensuring discipline, safety, and accountability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, PKs, Marshalls, market associations, government stakeholders, donors, and partner organisations.
• Ensure accurate data collection, validation, analysis, and preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and donor reports aligned to Output, Outcome, and Impact indicators.
• Develop operational systems, SOPs, corrective action plans, and performance dashboards based on field learnings.
• Ensure proper utilisation, monitoring, and accountability of field infrastructure, equipment, and project assets.
• Conduct regular reviews, identify risks, implement corrective strategies, and ensure project milestones are achieved as planned.
• Represent Vedan in stakeholder meetings, field reviews, presentations, and strategic discussions.

Nature of Work
Full-time field-intensive leadership role requiring flexible working hours based on project operations.
Daily presence on the ground and regular reporting to management is essential.
