Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering essential medical care and supporting various health initiatives in underserved slum communities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide antenatal and postnatal care for expectant and new mothers.
Deliver medical assistance to children under five years of age.
Support patients with chronic illnesses by ensuring appropriate care and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate patient records and case sheets.
Administer medications as per the doctor’s prescription.
Provide patient counseling as needed.
Ensure safe disposal of bio-medical waste in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Monitor and report on medicine stocks and medical supplies.
Submit required health data and reports for monitoring and evaluation.

Candidate Requirements

GNM/ANM/BSc qualification from a recognized nursing school or college.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in community healthcare.
A deep commitment to serving slum communities and enthusiasm for Asha’s mission.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Delhi-NCR.

Work Conditions

Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (with flexibility for urgent requirements).
Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
