Position: HR Manager
Reporting To: Executive Director
Location: New Delhi / NCR
Nature of Engagement: Full-Time Employment
TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR)
The HR Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and administration of the Organization's Human Resources function, including:
1. Recruitment and Selection
a. Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparation of job descriptions, advertisement, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks and issuance of appointment letters.
2. HR Administration
a. Maintain and update personnel records and files.
b. Ensure timely issuance of appointment letters, extension letters, relieving letters and exit formalities.
c. Monitor employee attendance, leave, joining, separation and other personnel-related matters.
3. Statutory and Labour Law Compliance
a. Coordinate statutory requirements (EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Wages, and others)
b. Coordinate with statutory authorities, consultants and legal professionals as required.
c. Keep management informed of changes in applicable labour and employment laws.
4. HR Policies and Systems
a. Contribute to development, review and update HR policies, procedures, manuals and systems.
b. Ensure implementation of HR policies in the organisation.
5. Compensation and Benefits
a. Prepare payroll, compliances, deductions, benefits and employee-related payments.
b. Prepare salary structures, CTC calculations and employee benefits as required.
6. Other Responsibilities
a. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information and records.
b. Coordinate with project teams and administrative/finance departments.
c. Undertake other HR-related responsibilities from time to time.
Minimum Qualification
• Master's Degree in Human Resources Management / Personnel Management / Business Administration (HR) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
• Experience in NGO, non-profit organization, research institution, development sector organization, healthcare organization or similar institution shall be added advantage.
• Experience in handling recruitment, payroll and statutory/labour-law compliances.
• Experience in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures
