Position: Cluster Coordinator
Number of Positions: Total 3 (2 in Koderma and 1 in Dumka). 2 positions are based out of Koderma and 1 position is based out of Dumka. Local female candidates will be preferred.
Reporting to: Livelihood Programme Manager / Programme Lead
Engagement: Full-time, field-based
Remuneration: 10,000 per month as base remuneration, with performance-linked commission of up to ?20,000 based on achievement of agreed grassroots sales and adoption targets
Contract: 1-year renewable contract based on performance

Since the role is focussed on menstrual health and the target group is women and adolescent girls, this position is open to women candidates only from local community of Koderma and Dumka.

About Project Unnati
Project Unnati is Anahat’s flagship programme on menstrual health. The project also includes livelihood through selling of reusable menstrual cloth pad in villages of Domchanch block of Koderma and in one block of Dumka (to be decided). At the heart of the programme are Unnati Didis – local women who act as menstrual health facilitators, community change-makers and last-mile sellers of reusable cloth pads. Unnati Didis may include JSLPS cadres or other active women from communities in Jharkhand.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for the Unnati didis. Each district will have 20 Unnati didis who will be local active women from the villages. The responsibilities will include -

Selection of Unnati didis from the villages. The didis may be JSPLS cadres, Active women or any other women from the village.
Training of unnati didis. - The cluster coordinator will train the unnati didis in modules of menstrual health and about reusable cloth pad. They will also train them in selling reusable cloth pads , menstrual cups and other feminine products.
Monitoring Of Unnati didis - The Cluster coordinator will monitor each and every unnati didis. They will conduct regular field visits to monitor sessions taken by didis and also the selling of reusable menstrual products.
Identifying bottlenecks in selling - The Cluster Coordinator will oversee the selling of reusable cloth pads by the Unnati dids. If any of the didis are unable to sell, then the cluster coordinator will help her to either overcome the challenge or identify a new Unnati didi for the area, depending on the circumstances,
Maintaining stock - The cluster coordinator will be responsible to maintain the stock of reusable menstrual products in office and in-hands of didis. She is accountable for collecting the sale money from the didis and updating the company accounts.
Community awareness - Along with the didis, theteh cluster coordinator is also responsible to generate awareness on menstrual health with the community women and girls.
School awareness - The Cluster coordinator will be responsible to generate awareness in menstrual health at school level.
Organizing health camp - She will be responsible for organizing health camps or events related to menstruation as per need in the villages.
Maintaining MIS - She will maintain the overall project MIS along with the project lead.
Coordination with local govt department - She will maintain cordial relations with govt stakeholders and different departments locally like the block office, gram panchayat, anganwadi centres and others.

Qualification and Experience
Experience in menstrual health
Experience in handling a team of 30 or more.
Experience in selling products in grassroots.
Experience in sales-target based job.
Experience in working with JSPLS
Familiarity with Jharkhand rural community.

Essential Operational Requirements
Own two-wheeler: Must possess a functional motorcycle/scooter with a valid driving licence for regular field visits.
Own laptop: Must have a working laptop for documentation, reporting, sales tracking and team coordination.
Travel flexibility: Must be willing to undertake extensive field travel across assigned villages in Jharkhand.
Language proficiency: Fluency in Hindi is required. Knowledge of locally spoken languages in Jharkhand will be an advantage.
