Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayata Samiti (MPVSS) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1997 to provide education, development, and rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities (PwDs), particularly children with disabilities.
MPVSS invites applications for the position of Occupational Therapist (OT) for its Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme in Ujjain.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT) from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the relevant professional/rehabilitation authority, wherever applicable.
Job Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for:
• Providing home-based occupational therapy services to children with developmental
disabilities.
• Conducting assessments and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Visiting beneficiaries in urban and rural areas within approximately 15 km of Ujjain city, as
well as two nearby villages.
• Working in coordination with the CBR team, parents, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Maintaining appropriate records and reports of services provided.
Experience
• 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Skilled and deserving candidates may be considered without prior experience.
