About the Project
Lok Astha Sewa Sansthan is implementing the Laika Ghar (Creche) Project for children aged 7 months to 3 years. The project focuses on providing safe, caring and development-oriented support to young children while strengthening support systems for their families and communities.
Position Summary
The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Laika Ghar Project at the cluster level. The position will provide regular support and guidance to supervisors and creche teams, conduct field visits, monitor the quality of services provided to children, and ensure timely reporting and effective implementation of project activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and monitor the functioning of Laika Ghar (Creche) centers within the assigned cluster.
• Conduct regular field visits to creche centers and monitor project activities.
• Provide guidance and technical support to Supervisors and creche workers.
• Monitor the quality of childcare, nutrition, hygiene, safety and child development activities.
• Ensure that project activities are implemented according to approved plans and guidelines.
• Review data and reports submitted by Supervisors and provide necessary feedback.
• Coordinate with community members, parents, local stakeholders and project staff.
• Identify implementation challenges and support the team in finding appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular review meetings with Supervisors and creche teams.
• Support training, orientation and capacity-building activities for project staff.
• Ensure timely submission of field reports and other project documentation.
• Document good practices, challenges, success stories and learning from the field.
• Coordinate with the MIS Officer for timely and accurate submission of project data.
• Support the Project/Program Coordinator in project planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain proper records of field visits, meetings, trainings and other project activities.
• Perform other project-related responsibilities assigned by the organization.
Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• Good understanding of community-based development programs.
• Good communication, coordination and facilitation skills.
• Ability to conduct field monitoring and prepare basic reports.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations.
Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the NGO/development sector.
• Experience in childcare, early childhood development, community development, women and child-related programs will be preferred.
• Experience in supervising field teams or coordinating multiple field locations will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
• Field monitoring and team coordination.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic report writing and documentation.
• Ability to work with community members and field-level staff.
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and mobile-based applications.
• Problem-solving and team-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Languages
• Hindi: Fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
• English: Basic to good reading and writing skills.
• Chhattisgarhi / Local Language: Preferred.
Salary
35,000 per month
