About the Role:

We are looking for a committed and motivated Social Worker to support the implementation of the Girls Empowerment programme at the community level. The Social Worker will be responsible for field-level programme implementation, community engagement, facilitation of sessions, documentation and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular field visits and engage with community members, adolescents, young people and other programme participants.
• Facilitate community meetings, awareness sessions, group discussions and programme activities.
• Support the implementation of programme activities as per the approved work plan.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, schools, clubs, local organizations and other stakeholders.
• Work with participants using a rights-based, gender-sensitive and inclusive approach.
• Maintain participant records, attendance, field notes and other programme documentation.
• Prepare regular field reports, case stories and activity updates.
• Support collection of programme data and monitoring information.
• Coordinate with government departments, local institutions and community stakeholders when required.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, review meetings and capacity-building activities.
• Undertake any other programme-related responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility:
• Strong mobilization and field-engagement skills
• Good communication skills in Bengali
• Ability to facilitate session, workshop, conduct home visits and community meetings
• Ability to document data clearly and maintain basic records
• Comfortable working with adolescents, youth, parents and community stakeholders
• Basic understanding of gender, sexuality and rights-based perspectives and willingness to learn
• Based in Old Malda Block, GP -Mahishbathani, Mangalbari, Bhabuk & Sahapur and willing to travel within the state
• 1–2 years of experience in community work (preferred)

Salary: 8k-10k (CTC) based on experiences
