POSITION ROLE
Field Coordinator, Admin & Finance will be responsible for handling all admin and finance-related tasks for the assigned location/s, such as - managing procurement, vendor management, handling day-to-day book keeping and accounting, handling office expenses, managing cash flow, support in preparing financial reports, etc. in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
 
Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure proper and effective implementation of admin and finance activities.
  • Verify and finalize bills/ vouchers for payments.
  • Update the records on day-to-day basis in the accounting application.
  • Prepare fund projections and fund requests for implementation of different activities with support from the   Senior Field officer, Programs.
  • Prepare a financial statement on expenses against funds received every month and share it with the Finance team on a monthly basis.
  • Provide technical assistance related to purchase, record keeping, risk management, and contract administration.
  • Provide administrative support to the field team, including travel arrangements, support in conducting meetings, arranging field visits, facilities management, etc.
  • Handle vendor management for equipment, supplies, printing services, and maintenance of equipment under established guidelines.
  • Responsible for providing remuneration details of the field team to finance teams on a monthly basis
  • Work closely with the Admin, HR and Finance team in the zonal/cluster office as well as in the country Office, for the support required.
  • Flexible to travel to remote locations for program support whenever needed.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Line Manager.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Education: Graduate degree in Finance/Commerce/Accounts is preferred. 
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting and administration. Working experience in the sector is an added advantage.
Language Proficiency:Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Telugu & English.
Skills and Abilities: Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications.
Job Knowledge:Sound knowledge of Tally and other accounting software

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.
 
Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

The written test will be conducted for the most highly rated applications.
 
Step 3: Based on the written test assessment, applications will be further shortlisted for Step 3 i.e. Interview. The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Panel for the final selection, based on the following evaluation factors for a maximum of 100 points.

Salary starts at INR 3,64,170 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
