1. ORW (Outreach Worker) -Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mapping and identification of the target population in the assigned area.

Establish and maintain regular contact with the target population through field outreach.

Provide information on HIV/AIDS, STI/RTI prevention, condom use, and available health services.

Mobilize beneficiaries for HIV testing, STI/RTI treatment, ICTC, ART, and other health services.

Distribute condoms and IEC materials and demonstrate correct condom usage.

Conduct regular follow-up of beneficiaries and track missed or irregular beneficiaries.

Coordinate with Peer Educators for effective outreach and service delivery.

Identify individuals at risk and facilitate appropriate counselling and referrals.

Maintain field registers, beneficiary records, and outreach documentation.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the TI Programme.

Work according to TI Programme guidelines, protocols, and targets.

Coordinate with Counsellor, Project Manager, healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders.

Counsellor – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Provide pre-test and post-test counselling to beneficiaries as per programme guidelines.

Provide accurate information regarding HIV/AIDS, STI/RTI, prevention, testing, and treatment.

Motivate and refer beneficiaries for HIV testing and other relevant health services.

Link HIV-positive beneficiaries with ART Centres and ensure appropriate follow-up.

Identify beneficiaries with STI/RTI symptoms and facilitate treatment or referral.

Conduct risk assessment and provide risk-reduction counselling.

Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all beneficiaries and their information.

Provide individual and couple counselling wherever required.

Maintain counselling, referral, and follow-up records.

Monitor and follow up on beneficiaries referred to health facilities.

Coordinate with ORWs, Peer Educators, Project Manager, ICTC, ART Centre, and other healthcare providers.

Prepare and submit required programme reports and documentation.

Support awareness and community-based activities under the TI Programme.
