We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional to join our project team as a Monitoring, Documentation and Sponsorship Officer. Applications are now open for suitable candidates.

About the organization: ASHA NGO (Dearah Association for Social and Humanitarian Action) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to community development in the Sundarbans region of West Bengal, bordering Bangladesh. Officially registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, the organization is fully compliant with FCRA 2010, holds 12A and 80G tax-exempt status under the Income Tax Act, and is eligible for CSR funding. For years, ASHA NGO has been actively working across the North 24 Parganas district, focusing on critical interventions in preventive healthcare, child protection, gender equity, and emerging socio-economic challenges in underserved border communities.

Position (1): Monitoring, Documentation and Sponsorship Officer

Qualifications & Experience:

* Education: Master's degree, preferably a Master of Social Work (MSW).
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of working experience with NGOs preferably in the field of Child Rights.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Local Residency: Male candidates residing locally are preferred.
* Equipment: Must possess a personal laptop.
* Languages: Excellent command of English and professional working knowledge of Hindi are strictly required.
* Availability: Must be available for both local and outstation residential training.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Monitoring and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative targets;
* Making documentation of the activities;
* Mobilizing resources (local and internal);
* Preparing strategic planning and risk monitoring;
* Preparing Monitoring and other study report;

Project locations:

16 villages of the 4 administrative blocks within the Basirhat Sub-division (North 24 Parganas, West Bengal)

Project overall Objective:

Preventing exploitation of children at risk from child marriage, child labors, child trafficking and other harms and enabling them tackle the situation involving the community, the Block level Stakeholders & other government officials

Remuneration (CTC):

24,000 - 28,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and interview performance)
