About the Organisation & Project

Unique Educate is inviting applications from qualified agriculture professionals for the position of Agriculture Consultant under the Krishak Pathshala Project. The position will provide technical support for agriculture-related demonstrations, farmer training, crop planning and promotion of improved and sustainable agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance for agriculture and horticulture activities under the project.
Support preparation of crop plans and seasonal agricultural activity plans.
Plan and supervise agricultural demonstration units.
Provide technical advisory services to farmers and project field staff.
Support promotion of improved, sustainable and suitable agricultural practices.
Conduct and facilitate practical farmer training and capacity-building programmes.
Assist in identification and adoption of appropriate crops, technologies and farming practices.
Monitor crop demonstrations and document results and learnings.
Support integrated farming and convergence with other agriculture and allied-sector activities.
Assist the Programme Manager in preparing technical reports and progress documentation.
Coordinate with agriculture departments, technical experts, institutions and other stakeholders as required.
Support collection and maintenance of farmer and field-level data.
Required Qualification & Experience
B.Sc. Agriculture.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in agriculture extension, farmer training, demonstrations or agriculture development programmes will be preferred.
Must-have Skills

Agriculture extension, crop planning, farmer advisory, field supervision, communication, documentation and basic computer skills.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience.
