Veterinary Consultant - 1 Position

Project: Krishak Pathshala Project
Employment: Full-time / Project-based

About the Organisation & Project

Unique Educate is inviting applications from qualified veterinary professionals for the Krishak Pathshala Project. The position will provide technical guidance and support for livestock and allied activities, including dairy, goatery, piggery and poultry.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance for livestock and allied-sector activities under the project.
Support implementation and monitoring of dairy, goatery, piggery and poultry activities.
Provide guidance to farmers on animal husbandry and livestock management practices.
Support animal health management, preventive care and vaccination-related activities.
Monitor livestock units and provide technical recommendations for improving productivity and management.
Conduct or facilitate farmer awareness and capacity-building programmes on animal husbandry.
Assist farmers in adopting appropriate feeding, housing, breeding and management practices.
Coordinate with veterinary services and relevant government departments when required.
Maintain records relating to livestock activities, animal health and project interventions.
Support field demonstrations and documentation of livestock-related activities.
Assist the Programme Manager in technical reporting and monitoring of project outcomes.
Required Qualification & Experience
B.V.Sc. / Bachelor in Veterinary Science.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in livestock development, veterinary services, rural development or allied-sector programmes will be preferred.
Must-have Skills

Veterinary technical knowledge, livestock management, farmer advisory, field coordination, communication, documentation and willingness to work in rural areas.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience.
