Agriculture Marketing Consultant - 1 Position

Employment: Full-time / Project-based

About the Organisation & Project

Unique Educate is seeking a qualified professional for Agriculture Marketing under the Krishak Pathshala Project. The position will focus on strengthening farmer institutions, aggregation, value addition, market linkages and commercial opportunities for agricultural and allied-sector produce.

Key Responsibilities
Support formation, development and strengthening of FPOs and farmer groups.
Facilitate aggregation of agricultural and allied-sector produce.
Identify suitable local, institutional and commercial market opportunities.
Develop backward and forward market linkages for farmers and FPOs.
Support value addition, packaging, branding and marketing of agricultural produce.
Assist in developing sustainable revenue and market models for project activities.
Facilitate interaction between farmers/FPOs and buyers, traders, institutions and other market actors.
Assess market demand, prices and opportunities for selected agricultural products.
Support development of business plans and market strategies for FPOs.
Maintain records of aggregation, sales, buyers and market linkages.
Support training and capacity building of farmers and FPO members on marketing and agribusiness.
Assist the Programme Manager in reporting and documentation of market-related activities.
Required Qualification & Experience
B.Sc. Agriculture / MBA (Agribusiness).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in FPOs, agricultural marketing, value addition, agribusiness or market linkage programmes will be preferred.
Must-have Skills

Agricultural marketing, FPO development, market linkage, communication, negotiation, business development, documentation and basic computer skills.

Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience.
