About Organisation:
SPYM is a national organization that has been working in the health and socio-economic development sector for over 40 years. The organization operates in the areas of health, socio-economic development, advocacy, and networking in the northern, southern, and northeastern regions of the country. SPYM has collaborated with various government bodies, including the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Additionally, SPYM has worked alongside international organizations such as the World Bank, UN agencies (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNODC), and bilateral agencies like DfID, USAID, and CIDA.
Kshamta Kendra:
SPYM is working as the Kshamta Kendra (capacity building institution) for the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh UT and Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh UT in partnership with SAATHII and the State AIDS Control Society of said states. The organisation has been entrusted with the responsibility to build the capacity of Targeted Intervention staff of NGOs and CBOs, who work among FSW, MSM, Hijra/Transgender persons, and PWID, and also the staff of the Link Workers Scheme.
SPYM invites application for the post of Training Officer – Kshamta Kendra:
Job Responsibilities:
o Profiling of HR employed with the TIs/LWS of the states covered under Kshamta Kendra
o Conduct training needs assessment of project staff of TIs/LWS
o Develop training calendar as per the findings of Training Needs Assessment
o Share training plan with the concerned SACS through Training Coordinator for necessary approval
o Develop and finalise state specific training agenda in consultation with SACS
o Communication with master trainers and ensure their availability for training
o Communication to training participants through SACS and required follow-up to ensure their participation in training
o Organize training programs - fixing date of training, venue of training, availability of Resource persons, AV equipment, stationery, resource material for participants
o Analysis of pre and post-test assessment using MIS tool
o Facilitate Training Coordinator in training report preparation
Qualification & Experience:
o Graduation with five years of relevant experience.
o The candidate should have working experience in the health sector particularly the HIV sector including training experience in the health program
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities typically needed to perform this job:
o Good communication skills and proficiency in English & Hindi preferably.
o Ability to undertake & deliver on the above responsibilities and tasks.
o Good documentation and presentation skills.
o Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team.
o Experience of handling MIS and basic accounting will be an added advantage
o Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Salary: Rs. 25000- 30,000.
