2. About DMI Mission

DMI Mission – India seeks to strengthen relationships with government departments, elected representatives, local administrative bodies, community leaders, and development partners to facilitate effective implementation of its programs.

3. Job Purpose
The Female Political Anchor will be responsible for overall reviewing content and interviewing selected persons during the interview process. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, networking, coordination, and relationship-management skills, together with a commitment to DMI’s mission and values.

4. Key Roles and Responsibilities
• To prepare content and interview politicians and other relevant persons
• Maintain constructive, non-partisan relationships with the persons who come for the interview and discussion.
• Arrange official appointments, prepare briefing notes, and follow up on meetings and commitments.
• Maintain professional boundaries and transparent records of official interviews and commitments.

5. Educational Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Relations, Sociology, or a related discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in government liaison, public relations, community mobilisation, institutional coordination, advocacy, or development-sector work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Tamil and English.
• Basic computer skills, including email and MS Office.
