About Abhivyakti Foundation
Abhivyakti Foundation is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to driving sustainable, grass-roots development across Jharkhand. Through focused interventions in ecology, sustainable livelihoods, education, and community empowerment, we strive to build resilient communities. We believe that an organization's true strength lies in its people, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and highly supportive workplace culture.

Position Overview
We are seeking an empathetic, dynamic, and forward-thinking Human Resource Manager to lead our people and culture initiatives. As the HR Manager, you will go beyond traditional administrative HR—you will act as the custodian of our organizational culture, driving innovative practices, nurturing talent, and creating an environment where our team thrives.

If you possess a deep passion for building conducive work environments, streamlining resource efficiency, and shaping best practices in the social impact sector, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Culture Building & Employee Engagement
Culture Strategy: Design and implement progressive organizational culture initiatives that foster trust, psychological safety, collaboration, and equity across field and office teams.

Best Practices & Innovation: Introduce modern, sector-relevant HR best practices to enhance staff well-being, retention, productivity, and work-life balance.

Conducive Environment: Serve as an empathetic focal point for staff feedback, conflict resolution, grievance redressal, and gender-inclusive workplace policies (including POSH implementation).

2. Organizational Resource Efficiency & Systems
Process Optimization: Streamline internal HR workflows, performance management systems (KPIs/KRAs), and talent development pipelines to ensure resource efficiency.

HR Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, attendance/payroll management, leave policies, and exit procedures.

Capacity Building: Identify learning gaps across teams and coordinate tailored training and professional development programs.

3. Administration & Digital Tools
HR Tech Integration: Leverage HR software, CRM applications, and digital tools to maintain accurate employee records, streamline communication, and analyze workforce data.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure full compliance with relevant statutory labor laws, NGO regulations, and internal governance standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background: Post-Graduate Degree (MBA / MSW / MA) with a specialization or concentrated background in Human Resource Management or Organizational Development.

Experience: Proven experience (3–7 years preferred) in core HR functions, ideally within the non-profit, development, or social enterprise sectors.

Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi (ability to engage comfortably with ground-level staff as well as institutional stakeholders).

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, standard digital tools, and standard HR management applications.

Key Competencies & Profile
Cultural Architect: A natural empathy-driven leader with a genuine desire to create a positive, motivating organizational climate.

Resource Mindset: Demonstrated ability to optimize human and financial resources effectively.

Adaptability & Innovation: Fresh ideas on employee engagement, reward systems, and collaborative team dynamics.

Diversity & Inclusion: Female candidates are strongly preferred to support organizational diversity and gender balance in leadership.

How to Apply
Interested and confident candidates who align with our vision are encouraged to submit their application package consisting of:

An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing relevant experience and accomplishments.

A compelling Letter of Motivation highlighting your experience in shaping organizational culture, resource efficiency, and why you are the right fit for Abhivyakti Foundation.
