SKSSSS is running Targeted Intervention Project of BSACS, Govt. of Bihar since 2010. We are required following staffs:-

ORW (MSM)-01

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

The Outreach Worker (ORW) for the MSM Typology will work closely with the project team to implement HIV/AIDS prevention strategies. Key responsibilities include:
• Field Outreach & Mapping: Conduct regular field visits, identify hotspots, and maintain updated social mapping of the MSM community in the designated area.
• Peer Management: Supervise, mentor, and guide Peer Educators (PEs) to achieve monthly and weekly field targets.
• Behavior Change Communication (BCC): Conduct one-to-one and group sessions with the community to promote safe practices and reduce high-risk behavior.
• Linkages & Referrals: Ensure regular screening of the target group at clinics for STIs, and facilitate referrals to ICTC (for HIV testing) and ART centers as required.
• Commodity Distribution: Manage and ensure the timely and continuous distribution of condoms and BCC materials to the target population.
• Documentation: Maintain daily diaries, target group registers, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) officer and Project Manager.

Education Qualification & Experience

• Education: Intermediate (12th Pass) or Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or any other relevant social sciences discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the development sector, preferably in NACO/BSACS-funded TI Projects (specifically with MSM/TG typologies).

Honorarium -
Rs. 10500/- Per month
TA- Rs. 1500/- Per Month.

Position Name: Peer Educator (PE) - MSM - 01 Post

• Key Responsibilities: Conduct direct field-level peer contact; mobilize the MSM community for health checkups; distribute condoms and safe-sex materials; report daily activities to the Outreach Worker.
• Qualifications: Minimum 8th to 10th pass. Ability to read and write basic text/numbers for reporting. Must belong to or have a strong rapport/acceptance within the local MSM community.
• Remuneration: Rs. 4,000/- per month (Honorarium)
• TA: Rs. 600/- per month
