Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Fundraising & CSR Manager to drive fundraising initiatives for our Gaushala through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships, corporate donations, individual donors, grants, and fundraising campaigns.
The role will involve identifying funding opportunities, developing compelling project proposals, building long-term donor relationships, coordinating CSR projects, and ensuring transparent fund utilization and impact reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. CSR Partnerships & Corporate Fundraising
• Identify and approach companies, corporate foundations, and CSR teams for funding opportunities.
• Develop CSR proposals and presentations for Gaushala projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with CSR Heads, corporate decision-makers, and potential sponsors.
• Coordinate corporate visits and explore long-term CSR partnerships.
2. Corporate & Individual Donor Management
• Secure donations and sponsorships for cow feeding, veterinary care, fodder, shelter construction, medical facilities, solar energy, and other Gaushala requirements.
• Build and maintain a database of prospective corporate and individual donors.
• Develop recurring donation programs and sponsorship initiatives, such as “Sponsor a Cow” and “Sponsor Fodder for a Month.”
• Maintain regular communication with donors and nurture long-term relationships.
3. Proposal Development & Documentation
• Prepare professional project proposals, budgets, presentations, and expected impact assessments.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Administration teams to maintain the necessary CSR and donor documentation.
• Support the preparation of utilization certificates, expenditure statements, and other donor reporting documents, as applicable.
4. Donor Relationship Management
• Maintain an updated donor database or CRM.
• Ensure timely donation acknowledgements and regular project updates.
• Organize donor meetings, site visits, and engagement activities.
• Share project progress, impact reports, and fund utilization updates with donors.
5. CSR Project Coordination
• Coordinate with the Gaushala Operations Manager to identify operational and funding requirements.
• Translate operational needs into structured, fundable CSR projects.
• Monitor project budgets, milestones, fund utilization, and deliverables.
• Collect photographs, data, bills, and supporting documents for project monitoring and CSR reporting.
6. Fundraising Campaigns
• Plan and execute online and offline fundraising campaigns.
• Coordinate digital fundraising initiatives and social media campaigns.
• Develop festival-based and occasion-specific fundraising activities.
• Collaborate with volunteers, community groups, and influencers to expand fundraising reach.
7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
• Prepare monthly fundraising and donor engagement reports.
• Track key performance indicators, including:
o Total funds raised
o Number of active and new donors
o CSR leads generated
o Proposals submitted and approved
o Corporate partnerships established
o Funds utilized and project impact achieved
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, donor relations, or business development within an NGO, non-profit, or social impact organization.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop professional proposals, budgets, and donor presentations.
• Proficiency in donor management, reporting, and documentation.
• Strong networking and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A self-driven, target-oriented approach with a genuine interest in animal welfare and social impact.
Preferred Experience
• Prior experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, grant management, or institutional fundraising.
• Existing relationships with corporate CSR teams, foundations, or individual donors.
• Experience working with animal welfare organizations, Gaushalas, or environmental and social impact initiatives.
