IGSSS is looking for a young, energetic Sales and Marketing Consultant to support the market development and sale of compost produced by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under our livelihood and waste management initiative at Hardoi

Through participatory approaches, IGSSS supports communities to shape their own development and secure a better future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a simple marketing and sales strategy for the compost product.
• Support in branding and packaging of the products
• Identify and connect with potential buyers such as nurseries, farmers, landscapers, institutions, retailers and bulk users.
• Develop local market linkages and generate regular sales.
• Support product positioning, pricing, packaging and promotion.
• Explore retail and digital channels for increasing product visibility and sales.
• Maintain a database of potential customers and track leads, orders and sales.
• Build the capacity of SHG members to manage basic marketing and customer relationships.
Expected Deliverables:
• Market and sales plan
• Potential buyer/customer database
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Buyer linkages and sales channels
• Monthly sales and market development report
• Recommendations for sustaining and expanding the enterprise
Experience: 2–5 years in marketing, sales, social enterprise, FMCG, agriculture or similar sectors.
Experience SHG enterprises will be an advantage.
Remuneration: Up to 35,000 per month.
