Job Responsibilities – Centre Head
Senior Citizen Recreational Centre
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning and overall management of the Senior Citizen Recreational Centre.
- Plan and coordinate recreational, social, wellness, cultural and awareness activities for senior citizens.
- Ensure regular engagement and participation of registered senior citizens in centre activities.
- Manage beneficiary registration, attendance, records, feedback and database maintenance.
- Coordinate health check-up camps, awareness sessions, yoga, meditation, indoor games and other community-based activities.
- Supervise centre staff, community outreach workers and support personnel, ensuring smooth operations.
- Build and maintain coordination with hospitals, healthcare professionals, local authorities, resident welfare associations, community groups and other stakeholders.
- Conduct community outreach and mobilise senior citizens from nearby areas to participate in centre activities.
- Address beneficiaries’ concerns, grievances and support requirements with sensitivity and ensure timely follow-up.
- Ensure the safety, accessibility, cleanliness and upkeep of the centre, including furniture, equipment, library resources and other facilities.
- Maintain programme documentation, activity reports, photographs, beneficiary records and other relevant registers.
- Prepare monthly activity calendars, work plans and progress reports for review by the management and CSR partner.
- Monitor programme implementation against approved objectives, targets, timelines and reporting requirements.
- Assist in budget monitoring, inventory management, procurement coordination and utilisation of centre resources.
- Ensure respectful, inclusive and dignified treatment of all senior citizens, with special attention to vulnerable and isolated elderly persons.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and periodic assessments of beneficiary participation, satisfaction and programme outcomes.
