Job Description: Director – Fundraising (CSR & Partnerships)
Location: Mumbai (CST or Kurla)
Compensation Range : Rs. 24 LPA to 30 LPA

As part of our next phase of growth, we are developing an 80+ acre integrated campus in Palghar, Maharashtra, which includes:
• A 500-bed elderly care facility (expanding from an existing smaller facility)
• Integrated models for sustainable community living and wellbeing
• Scalable programs across Education, environment, health, and livelihoods
The organization is now entering a scale-up phase, with a goal to grow CSR funding to ?100 Cr annually over the next 2–3 years.
Role:
The Director – Fundraising will lead CSR fundraising efforts while managing the overall fundraising function.
This is a hands-on leadership role where the individual will:
• Personally drive CSR partnerships and funding closures (primary focus)
• Build and manage a lean fundraising team (2 members)
• Strengthen and grow relationships with existing donors
• Oversee other fundraising channels through the team (HNI, individual, institutional)
The role requires someone who is comfortable owning targets, building relationships, and driving closures, while also setting up basic systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CSR Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships:
• Build and manage relationships with CSR heads, corporate leaders, and foundations
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline to support growth targets
• Lead end-to-end fundraising cycle: outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closures
• Drive funding for key programs including:
o Elderly care (500-bed facility)
o Education Programs
o Sustainability and water conservation
o Rural livelihoods and agriculture
o Health and community programs
• Secure and repeat CSR partnerships
2. Donor Management & Growth:
• Manage relationships with existing donors and partners
• Ensure regular engagement, updates, and communication
• Identify opportunities for renewals and increased funding with existing donors
• Maintain strong donor satisfaction and retention
3. Fundraising Planning & Pipeline Tracking:
• Develop monthly and quarterly fundraising plans
• Track pipeline, conversions, and closures
• Ensure discipline in follow-ups and deal movement
• Build simple systems for tracking and reporting
4. Team Management:
• Build & Lead a 2-member fundraising team
• Set clear targets and roles across CSR support, HNI, and institutional fundraising
• Review progress regularly and support team effectiveness
5. Proposals & Communication:
• Oversee development of proposals, presentations, and donor materials
• Ensure communication is clear, structured, and aligned to donor expectations
• Present programs in a way that is easy to understand and support
6. Internal Coordination:
• Work with program and finance teams to ensure:
o Funded projects are feasible and well-planned
o Reporting and compliance requirements are met
• Align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities
Experience:
• 10–15+ years of experience in CSR fundraising, partnerships, or NGO business development
• Proven track record of raising CSR funds and managing corporate relationships
• Existing connects with CSR teams/corporates will be an advantage
• Interest in working in the social sector
• Alignment with themes of sustainability, rural development, and community wellbeing

Skills:
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
• Ability to independently drive conversations and close opportunities
• Understanding of the CSR ecosystem in India
• Strong communication and presentation skills
