Location: Dimapur, Itanagar, Sambalpur and Jammu
Program: SATHEE (Self-Assessment, Test and Help for Entrance Exams), an initiative my Ministry of Education and II Kanpur
Role Overview
The SATHEE Mitra will support students preparing for competitive examinations by providing academic mentoring, facilitating digital learning, and coordinating day-to-day activities at the SATHEE Kendra. The role focuses on improving access to quality education, especially for students from underserved backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic mentoring and guidance to students preparing for JEE, NEET, CUET, and other competitive exams.
- Facilitate effective use of SATHEE digital platforms, online lectures, tests, and learning resources.
- Promote registration on SATHEE Portal.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions, group discussions, and remedial classes.
- Track student attendance, academic progress, and performance regularly.
- Organize orientation sessions, motivational talks, and weekly academic activities.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation as required by the project.
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of infrastructure, devices, and learning materials at the Kendra.
- Counsel and motivate students to improve confidence, discipline, and learning habits.
- Engage with parents, schools, and the local community to promote SATHEE initiatives.
- Share feedback and suggestions with the project team to improve program effectiveness.
- Increase Footfall in SATHEE Kendras
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge in Science/Mathematics (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths).
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Comfort with online learning platforms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and reporting skills.
Educational Qualification (Preferred)
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Teaching or mentoring experience is desirable.
Nature of Engagement
- Full-time / Contractual (Project-based)
- Transferable within the state or PAN India as per project requirement.
