At Digantar, we do not follow a fixed, year-wise class system at the primary level, as we believe every child learns at their own pace. Instead, we work within a gradeless structure, where children across learning levels learn together, with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding and developing as independent, self-motivated learners.

A child who joins at the age of 5 or 6 remains with the same group throughout her primary years. Each group includes around 25–30 children, and the primary teacher engages with them across subjects - Mathematics, EVS, Hindi, and English, along with art and craft. The teacher becomes a constant presence in the children’s learning journey, shaping the classroom environment with creativity, thoughtfulness, and care, while being supported through ongoing guidance and a structured induction into our pedagogy.

1. Teach all primary subjects to a primary group of 25-30 children.
2. Plan lessons and develop teaching-learning materials aligned with curricular principles.
3. Track and document children’s progress meaningfully.
4. Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians.
5. Participate actively in school events and build positive relationships with students.
6. Willingly take on additional responsibilities as they come.

Essential Qualifications
1. Proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi languages is essential.
2. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred; however, we also welcome enthusiastic freshers eager to begin their journey as teachers.
3. Graduate or Master’s degree in any discipline, along with a professional qualification (D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed/B.Ed/BSTC) from a recognized university.
