Summary of the position:
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and talent acquisition for the Truckers Wellness Project, ensuring timely deployment of qualified human resources across project locations. The role will play a critical part in enabling smooth project implementation by strengthening recruitment, onboarding, workforce management, and HR operations in alignment with project timelines and field requirements.
The position will closely work with program teams, field staff, and leadership to ensure availability of skilled manpower, adherence to HR processes, and effective employee lifecycle management. Given the scale and nature of the project, the role will also support high-volume and decentralized hiring, ensuring quality, compliance, and speed in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Truckers Wellness Project across multiple locations, including field and program staff.
• Develop and execute project-specific hiring plans in alignment with implementation timelines.
• Coordinate with program teams to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closures.
• Manage sourcing channels, screening, interviews, and selection processes.
• Ensure quality hiring while maintaining speed and cost efficiency.
• Build a pipeline of candidates for critical and high-turnover roles.
• Coordinate with recruitment vendors/agencies wherever required.
2. Onboarding & Induction
• Coordinate all joining formalities for new employees, including document collection, policy acknowledgements, and ID creation.
• Execute induction programs and orientation sessions for new hires.
• Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed accurately and within timelines.
3. Payroll & Statutory Administration
• Process starters, transfers, promotions, increments, and related HR documentation.
• Provide payroll inputs and submission of statutory filings.
• Maintain employee data for compliance and operational accuracy.
4. HRIS & Data Management
• Maintain and update HRIS with accurate employee information, role changes, leaves, and attendance.
• Prepare and maintain operational HR data for internal use, audits, or process tracking.
• Support operational aspects of performance management, including goal tracking and review documentation.
5. Talent Administration & Workforce Management
• Process probation reviews, contract extensions, role revisions, and acting appointments.
• Coordinate recruitment activities: scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, onboarding, and joining formalities.
• Maintain accurate employee records, service letters, and documentation.
6. Exit & Separation Processes
• Execute exit procedures in compliance with organizational policies.
• Process full and final settlements, clearance certificates, and statutory filings.
• Conduct exit interviews and ensure proper handover of responsibilities.
7. Operational Compliance & Process Implementation
• Implement HR policies and processes in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance and internal HR process guidelines.
• Identify gaps in operational processes and recommend corrective actions to ensure smooth execution.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 8-10 years of hands-on HR experience in Talent Acquisition, HR operations and administration
• At least 5 years of experience in the developmental sector
• Strong coordination, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks with accuracy and timeliness
