JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title : Fundraiser

Department: Marketing & Resource Mobilization

Location : Indiranagar, Bangalore

Grade : A

Reporting to : Team Leader

Travel Requirement : 80%

Level Of Contact With Children: 2 (Sporadic or occasional contact with children)

The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safeguarding Policy & Gender Equality Policy.

SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB :

This role will contribute to this purpose by managing an assigned portfolio of fundraising activities to achieve agreed targets. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will make decisions on how best to deliver activities and be accountable for the development and management of budgets, plans, marketing, stewardship, reporting and evaluations.

KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Positively engage with the public and motivate them to support Plan by donating on a long term
• Represent Plan India in different malls, residential premises, streets etc.
• Work with your Team Leader and Coach to achieve weekly quantity and quality fundraising targets.
• Ensure 100% attendance on field.
• Develop fundraising techniques with your Team Leader and Coach to improve the income of Plan
• Ensure you possess relevant collateral/resources to carry out your role
• Obtain and identify quality donors using methods outlined in Core Skills training.
• Maintain the highest possible standards of integrity, consistent with Plan’s values.
• Treat all information obtained by donors as confidential and in a safe and secure manner.
• Participate in training sessions as directed by your Team Leader or Coach.
• Actively share Plan’s information and fundraising techniques with fellow team members.
• To achieve agreed upon targets for sponsor/ donor acquisition
• To generate funds through the face to face fundraising technique using the prescribed products and interacting minimum 100 people daily
• To communicate effectively to donors / sponsors on the activities of the organisation as trained by the induction process
• Meet set income targets by signing paid-supporters for PLAN India
• Stay updated with all information/training, work guidelines, principles, polices & Projects
• Achieving the set donors & income budgets every month

Targets and Achievements :

To raise the income of 4 times of Salaries from the field and 6 times of salaries from the Permission.
• To interact with 100 people and give 50 presentations daily.
• To ensure minimum 80% targets achieved MoM.
• 100% Attendance and discipline during working hours.

ELIGIBILITY (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE) :
• Graduate/ Post Graduate
• Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.
• Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.
• Energy and drive to inspire people
• Public Speaking skills
