Counselling and other client-based services

Visit all the assigned fields of Project Naya Daur.
Assess new clients and help develop treatment plans.
Interact with existing clients in each field and provide in depth individual counseling at least twice every month.
Provide supportive & motivational counselling. Identify their area of interest and motivate them to take part in skills development training and engage in employment as per their interests and abilities.
Monitor hygiene status and medicine intake of each clients.
Facilitate Doctor’s visit to clients and interact with the doctor regarding their status.
Conduct group activities jointly with Social Worker.
Conduct IDEAS and PANSS & GAF for all the clients.
Visit Institutions** where clients identified by the organization are admitted.
Regularly interact with caregivers and employers and address or report concerns to the Project Coordinator and Program Officer if any.
Provide assistance to the Restoration Team for client restoration/ resettlement, family counselling, pre-post restoration visits as needed.
In case of any concern, bring it to the attention of the Project Coordinator, Program Officer, and Assistant Directors and concerned Doctor.
Provide assistance to conduct field survey.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain proper documentation, prepare case studies, maintain photo documentation, update and maintain registers and files of each clients.
Prepare scale administration reports, awareness camp, medical camp, advocacy meeting reports.
Assist in developing survey questionnaire.
Prepare MIS & VITS and assist in preparing donors report.
Update assessment scores on software and maintain counseling report electronically.
Maintain the counselling register regularly.

Reintegration and Inclusion of Clients

Motivate NGOs and other related organizations for help and support.
Motivate clients to be economically active, facilitate engagement in paid employment, regular interaction with employers for retention and equal rights.
Facilitate Govt. entitlements, community-based resettlement.

Awareness, Advocacy & Networking

Provide support in organizing awareness camps, medical camps, rehabilitation fair, and sports.
Provide support in identifying and establishing professional relationship with police officials, Govt. health service providers, local NGOs & CBOs, KMC ward councilors, concern Govt. departments to assist clients gain access to education, care, entitlements and support services
